This heated water is distributed throughout the building for space heating or domestic hot water. The system can also operate in reverse to provide cooling during warmer months. • The heat pump must be positioned at least 80 cm away from any wall.
• If mounted on a wall and elevated by 40 cm, a safety zone of 1 meter around the unit must be maintained.
• This protected area must remain free of any openings (such as windows, doors, or ventilation outlets) and ignition sources (including electrical sockets, switches, or lighting fixtures).
• Any building penetrations within this zone must be sealed airtight.
• The designated safety area must not encroach upon neighbouring properties or public pathways.
